Statement Regarding The Precept 2022-2023 – Thursday 9th December 2021
Penkridge Parish Council are aware that following a breach of confidentiality, comments have been made on Social Media regarding the Precept and Play Park Budget.
These posts contain false, misleading, incomplete and inaccurate information which is causing undue distress to all.
The Council have decided to adopt the Finance and Resources Committee recommendation for the Precept be set at £270,000 for the financial year 2022-2023 giving an approximate increase on the Band D household of 5.25%.
The Horsefair Play Area will be upgraded during the Summer of 2022 from the Parish Council’s Play Area Reserves, Capital Budget and possibly Grants which will not substantially impact on the Council Tax.
